The main principle of the Indian diet

The main principle of the Indian diet is the refusal of meat and meat products. The Indian diet is vegetarian. If you have noticed deterioration of the general condition of an organism, you should refuse your common method of a food intake.

Be cautious: you should not compare the vegetarianism and the balanced food. You can go too far with fat and sugar when you have sharp deficiency of proteins and minerals.

Breakfast:

Fresh fruit or vegetables juice, tea (with a lemon cantle or with milk, but without sugar), corn flakes with a cup of low-fat milk.

Dinner:

For choice:

1) 200 gram 20 %cottage cheese and fresh fruit salad;

2) salad from cucumbers with sunflower-seed oil and several grains of sesame, a plate of boiled rice with lentil (three parts of rice on one part of lentil) and with boiled carrots;

3) a plate of a cooked semolina with beans and vegetables.

Supper:

For choice:

1) soya stake with a vegetable cutlet, natural yoghurt and apple compote;

2) salad from sprouts of soya, tomatoes and mushrooms, the vegetable baked pudding, one chunk of rye bread;

3) two boiled eggs with spinach and a toast slice.

Every day you must consume such products:

- Dairy products: the natural yoghurt, fat-free curdled milk, low-fat cottage cheese;

- The raw vegetables seasoned with sauce on the basis of natural yoghurt, 20 % cottage cheese, seaweed with soya;

- Nuts (almonds, hazelnut, a filbert, sunflower seeds, sesame);

- The steamed vegetables (vitamins and minerals remain), minimum for dinner or supper.

- Soups – hot or cold;

- Cereal dishes. But you should not abuse such products as rice, pasta and bread;

- Two-three fresh or dried fruit during meal;

- Boiled or fresh eggs four-five times a week;

If you choose this method of food intake, you should control that the organism receives enough of protein, vitamins В1, В2 and iron.

Not every person can normally adapt to the changes in a diet and refuse various foodstuffs. So before going on the Indian diet consult the doctor!
