Make Your Holiday Excellent

As summer is a holiday season, it seems sensible to remind holiday makers of the danger of taking too many risks with the sun and the sea. Holiday visitors are sometimes so careless! They… go straight to the coastline during their first holiday day and lie in the sun too long to get browned quicker. Then they are miserable because they have to stay in the hotel for the next few days.
It is extremely important to be careful with the sun during the first days of your holidays. It is better to sunbathe for just half an hour during the first few days and then increase the amount of time daily. Also you must remember that the food you eat may also influence the color of your skin under the sun. Because the food contains chemicals that might react to the sunbath. So, be careful with what you eat and remember that healthy food is less chemicalized, so if you keep on healthy dieting – you are out of danger!
The other foolish thing holiday people do is to go to the beach in the middle of the day, when the sun is very hot, it radiates rays that may be harmful to your health. And one more important thing – please, be very capricious what you eat when lying in the sun. Some products might be unhealthy to your body and organism, as with the sunlight they have bad reaction.
People take risks with the sea, too. Many people swim immediately after a heavy lunch. This can be dangerous because you can get cramps in your legs and arms and drown. So, if you are stuffed after food intake, take some time rest, and only after it you may swim. If you are very impatient and you wanna swim right now, in this case a diet is your safer. When you keep on diet, you eat less but more often, and your organism is not exhausted with the overeating. So, you may swim quicker after food intake, and not wait for a long time.
It is also unwise to take passports, travel docs and tickets with you when you go shopping or sightseeing. It is much better to put all your valuables in the hotel safe. It is better to be safe than sorry! When you are a tourist, please, don’t leave your common sense at home when you go on holiday!
Practical DOs and DON’Ts for holiday people about…
… Travellers’ Cheque
1. Carry your passport, your money and Travellers’ Cheque in a safe place – not in a beach bag, or all in one pocket or wallet.
2. Check exchange rates when you cash your cheques – shops or hotels may legitimately lower the rate a little; make sure it is only a little!
… money
1. Don’t carry a large amount of cash with you. If someone steals it or you lose it, you are not likely to get it back.
2. Carry enough cash for your day-to-day expenses. If you are staying in a hotel, put your money to a safe and get a receipt.
… personal possessions
1. Don’t wear expensive jewellery or watches when you go out.
2. Don’t leave your handbag unattended even for short periods. Always take it with you or ask a friend to look after it.
3. Don’t leave hand luggage, including your briefcase, unattended on railway platforms, waiting rooms, luggage racks or anywhere else.
4. Take special care of your passport, plane tickets and other personal documents.
… self-service shops
1. Always use the baskets or trolleys in self-service shops or supermarkets.
2. Always pay for foods before leaving the shop. Failure to do so is very likely to lead to arrest, fine or police prosecution.
