Antismoking Diet.Part I

Are you afraid that if you give up smoking you gain overweight? Believe it or not, it is not so difficult as it may seem at first sight.

When you come off cigarettes, your weight may slightly increase, but this increase is firstly connected with the metabolism that is getting normalised,  and the organism ” comes” to the correct work.

7 steps to success

1. Get rid of intoxication.
Include products rich in antioxidants, vitamin C, beta carotin. Eat more carrots, green vegetables, citrus.

2. Drink more water.

No less than 8-10 glasses of water a day. It is better to drink still mineral water, herbal tea, fresh juice.

3. Useful snacks.

Distract yourself from the “smoking” thoughts. It is better to chew a fresh carrot or an apple. If you have a sweet tooth – pay attention to dried fruits.

4. Refuse coffee.

Break off coffee – cigarette connection. Replace coffee with green tea.

5. Limit caloric content of a diet.

Reduce consumption of fat and carbohydrated food. Eat less sweets, candies, exclude smoked sausage, frankfurters.  Keep an eye on fat content of dairy products.

6. Go in for sports.

Try to spend more time on fresh air – cycle, play badminton, run or jog.

7. Tune yourselt into positive result.

Define what it is more important – to mask the “losses” behind a smoke veil or to opt for active actions.
